Why We Exist

Most AI vendors want to sell you API access — a monthly bill that grows with every request, a data pipeline that sends your business-critical information to someone else’s servers, and a dependency that you can never fully control.

We think there’s a better way.

VORLUX AI (from Vor = forward + Lux = light) was founded on a simple idea: European businesses deserve AI that respects their data, fits their budget, and runs on hardware they actually own. Not every company needs GPT-4 in the cloud. Many need a fast, private language model running on a EUR 700 device in their office — and with the edge AI market projected to exceed USD 66 billion by 2030, that’s exactly the direction the industry is heading. That’s what we deliver.

What We Do

VORLUX AI operates across three service divisions:

1. Consulting (Active)

We’re the Technical Deployment Manager for Apprendere Consulting, delivering enterprise LMS implementations, SSO configurations, and 35+ third-party integrations. This is our first client engagement and the proving ground for our methodology.

2. Edge AI for SMEs (Launching May 2026)

Our core offering: we deploy Small Language Models (SLMs) on low-power hardware — NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano, Apple Mac Mini M4, Intel NUCs — directly in your office or data center, powered by open-source inference tools like Ollama. No cloud bills. No data leaving your network. Deployment + monthly retainer — price scoped per engagement.

What you get:

• A local AI model tuned for your industry (legal, finance, manufacturing, retail)
• Hardware that fits on a shelf, uses 15W of power, and costs less than 3 months of API fees
• GDPR compliance by design — your data never leaves your premises

3. Sovereign AI Nodes (Month 6+)

For government agencies and regulated industries: fully air-gapped AI systems that meet ENS (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad) and EU AI Act requirements. Zero internet dependency. Complete audit trails.
